BLUSH TONES & BARE SHOULDERS
Happy Monday Everyone! This week is going to be super busy at university with hand-in's and exams starting next week..The stress is kicking in! I've been desperate to get out and dress up with the last few weeks being a bit boring, so on Saturday night I headed out for dinner and drinks. I recently picked up this blouse from Topshop and I love everything about it- the colour, the material, bare shoulders and the over-sized sleeves! I've made quite a few purchases with bare shoulders for Spring/Summer and I can't wait to share them all with you..My new favourite trend..I really like the bare shoulder trend with my short hair! Blush is a colour I always opt for in Spring and Summer..I just love how it looks with tanned skin and dark features like mine. It's always been my favourite colour for the warmer months. After having a spring clean at the weekend and switching my wardrobe from winter-wear to summer-wear I have a few blush pieces I'll be pulling out from last year.
It's still really cold here in Scotland so I paired my new blush top and nude heels with black jeans. I also went for black jeans because it was a saturday night and I wanted to look a bit more formal. But I can't wait to wear this top with lighter ripped denim jeans and light wash denim shorts when the weather gets better! I still love these sandals that I got years ago from Zara..they are the perfect shape and also so comfortable, they are a bloggers favourite and I always see them all over Instagram. These have been a staple in my wardrobe for the past few Spring/Summer's.
How cute is this little "Love" necklace? It's a choker but can also be worn longer. I'm loving chokers right now and had to pick this little one up when I spotted it in Forever 21..I was so surprised to find out when I got to the till it was on sale for 49p.....What?! Such a bargain! I think it's sold out as I can't find it on the website but it might be in store as I only picked it up recently. I love Forever 21 for little accessories and basics. I'm so sad that the Glasgow store is shutting down! I love it for summer-wear. I'll need to stock up before it shuts down.
I completed this look with gold reflective aviator sunglasses and my Louis Vuitton "Pochette Metis". This bag goes with everything..One of my favourite purchases ever. It's great for all seasons which is what I needed as I find myself only wearing some of my bags during cold months and the others during warmer months- It's good to have one that goes with everything at anytime of year.
